A Literary Weekend You’ll Remember All Too Well
Catskills, New York | September 24–27
Pack your cream knits, tuck a red ribbon into your suitcase, and head to the mountains for a girls’ getaway designed to feel like the turning of a page.
This isn’t just a retreat. It’s a carefully written weekend where you’ll laugh, reflect, create, and connect with women who understand what it means to outgrow a chapter and begin another.
Inspired by Red, Lover, Folklore, and TTPD, Fall Too Well blends deep conversation, curated meals, book club magic, golden hour portraits, and creative moments into an experience that feels both intimate and unforgettable.
From butter flights and fresh sourdough to rhinestoned book covers and candlelit reflection circles, every detail is intentional — warm, modern, and thoughtfully styled in deep red, cream, black, and gold.
Come for the escape.
Stay for the connection.
Leave with a chapter you’ll carry long after the leaves have fallen.

Question?
🗓 What are the dates of the event?
The retreat officially runs from the evening of September 24 through the afternoon of September 27, 2026.
Guests may arrive beginning at 4:00 PM on Thursday, September 24. Our first scheduled gathering will be welcome dinner followed by fireside introductions and our cocoa bar.
The weekend concludes at 2:00 PM on Sunday, September 27 after brunch and closing goodbyes.
📍Where is it taking place?
The next retreat will be held in Mountain Dale, New York — tucked into the Catskills for a cozy autumn escape.
While Fall Too Well takes place in the mountains this September, our Sessions happen all over the country. Whether you're joining us in the pines, in a city skyline setting, or somewhere entirely new, we always create an intentional, thoughtfully styled space designed for connection.
❓Is this a women-only event?
Our events are intentionally designed as safe, celebratory spaces for women to connect through shared experiences of girlhood, creativity, and community. That focus is what makes the energy of these weekends so unique and meaningful.
We are also proud to welcome trans women and non-binary individuals who feel aligned with the spirit of this space. While we’d love to expand access even further in the future, we’re currently a small team with limited resources and are not yet able to accommodate all guests or lodging configurations.
As we grow, so will our ability to offer broader opportunities — always with care, intention, and inclusion at the heart. 💫
If you have specific questions, please reach out to us directly at shopthemirrorballmagic@gmail.com
🙋♀️ Is there an age requirement?
Yes — attendees must be 21 or older. These retreats are designed for adult women looking to reconnect with themselves and others through creativity, friendship, and joy.
🧍Can I come alone?
Absolutely. Most of our attendees come solo — and leave with lifelong friendships. This is a safe, welcoming space designed to help you feel connected and celebrated just as you are.
💸 What’s included in the cost?
Your ticket covers:
- 4 days / 3 nights in the Catskills (September 24–27, 2026)
- 8 curated meals, plus snacks, coffee, and drinks throughout the weekend
- Signature food experiences including our butter flight + fresh sourdough gathering
- Rhinestone book cover workshop and “Pages Turned” guided connection game
- Structured book club discussion and reflection circle
- Golden hour portrait experience (optional) and full group photo
- Candlelit dinners and intentionally styled gathering spaces
- Curated Fall Too Well swag and keepsakes
Supplies for all guided experiences and creative sessions
- A thoughtfully hosted, intimate 17-guest experience you’ll remember all too well
❌ What’s not included in the price?
Great question! While your ticket covers almost everything once you arrive, here’s what’s not included:
✈️ Travel to and from the retreat location (flights, gas, airport transfers, etc.)
🍸 Extra personal purchases (alcoholic beverages, souvenirs, or any optional off-site activities)
💆♀️ Add-ons like spa treatments or one-on-one sessions (if offered)
We’ll always let you know ahead of time if anything optional comes with an extra cost — no surprises here, just glitter and good vibes ✨
✈️ What’s the closest airport to the retreat?
The closest airport to our Fall Too Well retreat in Mountain Dale is Albany International Airport (ALB) — approximately 45 to 60 minutes from our Catskills property.
Another nearby option is New York Stewart International Airport (SWF), located just over an hour away. While smaller and easy to navigate, flight availability may be more limited.
For the most flight flexibility, guests may also choose LaGuardia (LGA), JFK, or Newark (EWR), which are roughly 2 to 2.5 hours from Mountain Dale depending on traffic.
Flights and transportation are the responsibility of each attendee. Once your travel plans are booked, we’re happy to connect you with other guests arriving around the same time so you can coordinate carpools or shared ride options.
No matter which airport you choose, we’ll help guide you toward the smoothest route to the mountains.
🛌 What are the rooming options?
We offer three accommodation tiers:
Shared Suite – Single bed in a shared room with four other attendees
Companion Quarters – Separate beds in a shared room with one companion (ideal for friends booking together or thoughtfully paired guests)
Private Retreat – Private bedroom for one guest (limited availability)
All options include the full Fall Too Well experience: lodging, meals, curated programming, golden hour portraits, swag, and guided activities.
🏠 What if I live locally and don’t need lodging?
We love that you're nearby! That said, we kindly ask that all attendees stay onsite to keep the group connected and fully immersed in the retreat experience.
Many of the best moments happen outside of the scheduled activities — and we want you to be there for all of it.
Because our costs are distributed across meals, supplies, swag, and accommodations, we’re unable to offer a reduced rate for opting out of lodging. Thank you for understanding!
💳 Are payment plans available?
Yes! We offer Pay in 4 at checkout, so you can break your investment into more manageable payments.
🐾 Can I bring my pet with me?
As much as we love furry friends, pets aren’t allowed at our retreats.
ADA-recognized service animals may be considered with respect to their necessity. However, we can’t guarantee approval, since the final decision lies with each individual venue owners. With 20+ women sharing a home, allergies are a common factor for both attendees and homeowners, so we have to be mindful of those needs as well.
If you have an accessibility request, please reach out before booking. We’ll always do our best to explore options with care and transparency. 💕
📦 What should I bring?
We’ll send out a full packing list before the retreat — including any era-coded outfit inspo, cozy must-haves, and anything you’ll need for activities. Just bring yourself, your sparkle, and a willingness to connect.
👯 How many people will be there?
This retreat is currently capped at 17 attendees. This creates a welcoming environment where real connections happen, and no one feels lost in the crowd.
This is subject to change based on demand for the event.
❓Where do you stand on inclusivity and community values?
We proudly stand for equality, kindness, and human rights — including full support for the LGBTQ+ community and other historically marginalized groups. Our events are rooted in celebration, connection, and mutual respect, and we’re committed to creating spaces where everyone feels safe, valued, and seen.
We uphold a zero-tolerance policy for bullying, discrimination, or bigotry of any kind. If you're joining us, we ask that you lead with empathy, uplift others, and show up with an open heart. This community is built on love, care, and the joy of coming together — and that’s exactly how we intend to keep it. 🌈💖
🍷 Will there be alcohol or access to smoking?
We’ll be serving a few light, themed drinks throughout the weekend — think fun cocktails or mocktails that fit the vibe — but we do not provide a full bar or cater alcohol services.
You're welcome to BYOB and enjoy your own drinks responsibly, especially during dinners or late-night hangs.
As for smoking, we follow all local laws and respect legal cannabis use where permitted, but ask that any smoking (of any kind) be outdoors only and away from shared community spaces to keep things comfortable for all attendees.
This retreat is about connection, presence, and shared joy — so we just ask that everyone participate with care, kindness, and consideration. 💖
🌍 Do you offer international retreats or accept international attendees?
Yes! While this particular event is U.S.-based, Sessions Retreats are hosted around the world, and we’d be absolutely honored to welcome friends from anywhere.
If you’re an international guest looking to join us, we’d love to hear from you and support you however we can. Community like this knows no borders. 💌
💳 What is your refund policy?
Because we begin booking venues, securing materials, and covering upfront costs the moment you reserve your spot, all payments are non-refundable.
We totally understand that life happens — but this retreat is a shared commitment. Every spot is accounted for in the overall budget, and when someone backs out, it affects the experience and cost for everyone else involved.
If you can no longer attend, you're welcome to transfer your spot to another guest, but it is your responsibility to sell or gift your ticket. We’re happy to help promote that in our community where possible, but we cannot issue refunds under any circumstances. Thanks so much for understanding — this policy helps us protect the integrity of the retreat and everyone who’s counting on it. 🤍
