Sorting Swifties

August 13, 2027 - August 20, 2027

Your letter has arrived.

For our third annual Veterans Trip, we’re doing something we’ve never done before: spending a full week together in Orlando! Sorting Swifties brings a little Hogwarts magic into the universe we’ve already built, complete with houses, eras, a Sorting Ceremony, and an optional adventure into the Wizarding World at Universal Studios.

But Veterans Trip has never really been about where we go. It’s about getting our people back under one roof. Seven nights gives us more time for slow mornings, pool days, late-night conversations, ridiculous traditions, reconnecting with old friends, and finally spending time with people you may have known through the group chat for years.

Question?

🗓 What are the dates of the event?

The trip officially runs from August 13, 2027 through August 20, 2027.

Check-in opens at or after 4:00 PM EST on Friday, August 13.
Check-out is by 10:00 AM EST on Friday, August 20.

📍Where is it taking place?

This Veterans Trip will be held in Orlando, Florida. Our home for the week will serve as the heart of the experience, with intentional staycation days, plenty of downtime, and free time to explore Orlando at your own pace.

We’ll also have an optional group day at Universal Studios, including the Wizarding World of Harry Potter. Park admission and related expenses are not included in registration.

❓Is this a women-only event?

Our events are intentionally designed as safe, celebratory spaces for women to connect through shared experiences of girlhood, creativity, and community. That focus is what makes the energy of these weekends so unique and meaningful.

We are also proud to welcome trans women and non-binary individuals who feel aligned with the spirit of this space. While we’d love to expand access even further in the future, we’re currently a small team with limited resources and are not yet able to accommodate all guests or lodging configurations.

As we grow, so will our ability to offer broader opportunities — always with care, intention, and inclusion at the heart. 💫

If you have specific questions, please reach out to us directly at shopthemirrorballmagic@gmail.com

🙋‍♀️ Is there an age requirement?

Yes — attendees must be 21 or older. These retreats are designed for adult women looking to reconnect with themselves and others through creativity, friendship, and joy.

🧍Can I come alone?

Absolutely. Most of our attendees come solo — and leave with lifelong friendships. This is a safe, welcoming space designed to help you feel connected and celebrated just as you are.

💸 What’s included in the cost?

❌ What’s not included in the price?

Great question! Veterans Trip is intentionally more self-led than our traditional Sessions, so here’s what’s not included in your $799 registration:

  • Flights or transportation to and from Orlando
  • Airport transportation or transportation throughout the week
  • Groceries, meals, snacks, or drinks
  • Universal Studios admission
  • Food, drinks, merchandise, or other expenses at Universal
  • Personal shopping or entertainment
  • Any optional activities or outings you choose during free time

✈️ What’s the closest airport to the retreat?

✈️ Closest Airport
The nearest airport is Orlando International Airport (MCO), the primary airport serving the Orlando area with direct flights available from cities across the U.S.

🚗 Getting from the Airport
Uber, Lyft, taxis, and rental cars are all readily available at MCO. Transportation is not included with Veterans Trip, so each attendee is responsible for arranging transportation to and from the house and throughout the week. Once travel plans begin coming together, we’ll provide space for Veterans to connect and coordinate rides or split transportation when it works for everyone involved.

🛌 What are the rooming options?

Rooming & Sleeping Arrangements

Veterans Trip uses shared accommodations to help keep the full week affordable while making room for as many of our Veterans as possible.

King beds will be shared by two attendees, while queen, full, and bunk beds will be assigned to one person. Ashton + Marissa will make all room assignments with compatibility and comfort at the forefront.

We’ll be thoughtful about who we place together. When possible, shared kings will be assigned to Veterans who already know one another and are likely to be comfortable sharing, while individual beds will be prioritized for attendees who may not know the group as well. Because final assignments depend on attendance and the house as a whole, we can’t guarantee a particular bed, roommate, or sleeping arrangement in advance.

Our goal is simply to use the space thoughtfully while making everyone feel as comfortable as possible in a shared house for the week.

🏠 What if I live locally and don’t need lodging?

We love that you're nearby! That said, we kindly ask that all attendees stay onsite to keep the group connected and fully immersed in the retreat experience.

Many of the best moments happen outside of the scheduled activities — and we want you to be there for all of it.

Because our costs are distributed across meals, supplies, swag, and accommodations, we’re unable to offer a reduced rate for opting out of lodging. Thank you for understanding!

🐾 Can I bring my pet with me?

As much as we love furry friends, pets aren’t allowed at our retreats.

ADA-recognized service animals may be considered with respect to their necessity. However, we can’t guarantee approval, since the final decision lies with each individual venue owners. With 20+ women sharing a home, allergies are a common factor for both attendees and homeowners, so we have to be mindful of those needs as well.

If you have an accessibility request, please reach out before booking. We’ll always do our best to explore options with care and transparency. 💕

💳 Are payment plans available?

Yes! We offer Pay in 4 at checkout, so you can break your investment into more manageable payments.

📦 What should I bring?

We’ll send out a full packing list before the retreat — including any era-coded outfit inspo, cozy must-haves, and anything you’ll need for activities. Just bring yourself, your sparkle, and a willingness to connect.

👯 How many people will be there?

Our goal for Veterans Trip III is at least 20 attendees. Reaching that minimum is what allows us to move forward with the week as planned.

The home itself gives us plenty of room to welcome additional Veterans beyond that goal without filling it to maximum occupancy. We intentionally chose a much larger property so everyone can spread out, have space to recharge, and still enjoy the energy of having the community together under one roof.

❓Where do you stand on inclusivity and community values?

We proudly stand for equality, kindness, and human rights — including full support for the LGBTQ+ community and other historically marginalized groups. Our events are rooted in celebration, connection, and mutual respect, and we’re committed to creating spaces where everyone feels safe, valued, and seen.

We uphold a zero-tolerance policy for bullying, discrimination, or bigotry of any kind. If you're joining us, we ask that you lead with empathy, uplift others, and show up with an open heart. This community is built on love, care, and the joy of coming together — and that’s exactly how we intend to keep it. 🌈💖

🍷 Will there be alcohol or access to smoking?

We’ll be serving a few light, themed drinks throughout the weekend — think fun cocktails or mocktails that fit the vibe — but we do not provide a full bar or cater alcohol services.

You're welcome to BYOB and enjoy your own drinks responsibly, especially during dinners or late-night hangs.

As for smoking, we follow all local laws and respect legal cannabis use where permitted, but ask that any smoking (of any kind) be outdoors only and away from shared community spaces to keep things comfortable for all attendees.

This retreat is about connection, presence, and shared joy — so we just ask that everyone participate with care, kindness, and consideration. 💖

🌍 Do you offer international retreats or accept international attendees?

Yes! While this particular event is U.S.-based, Sessions Retreats are hosted around the world, and we’d be absolutely honored to welcome friends from anywhere.

If you’re an international guest looking to join us, we’d love to hear from you and support you however we can. Community like this knows no borders. 💌

💳 What is your refund policy?

Because we begin booking venues, securing materials, and covering upfront costs the moment you reserve your spot, all payments are non-refundable.

We totally understand that life happens — but this retreat is a shared commitment. Every spot is accounted for in the overall budget, and when someone backs out, it affects the experience and cost for everyone else involved.

If you can no longer attend, you're welcome to transfer your spot to another guest, but it is your responsibility to sell or gift your ticket. We’re happy to help promote that in our community where possible, but we cannot issue refunds under any circumstances. Thanks so much for understanding — this policy helps us protect the integrity of the retreat and everyone who’s counting on it. 🤍
